The 1st ever team 7 I witnessed was prolly this team Yamato. Since this used to aire on TV at that time, so I watched this at that time + I watched shippuden first without watching Naruto lol (was a real newbie to animes at that time so didn't knew much) so this was the team 7 to me. Brings back so many memories ahh

I don't like him as a main character, even Ichigo is still better after rewatch. I don't understand where the power of friendship is coming from when Naruto is an immature, annoying brat. Feels like a convenient, cheap tool that doesn't even feel natural.
